Terms of Use

    1.1 What are the terms of use and what do they apply to?

    (a) To access and use some of the Services available through the Site, you must register with the Site. There are two separate categories for registration:
      (i) applicants (i.e. individuals seeking to rent or buy a property); and
      (ii) advertisers (i.e. individuals seeking to let or sell a property);
    (b) When you want to start the registration process please choose the appropriate category and follow the instructions. We will ask you to provide certain information about yourself that is true, accurate, and up to date. You will also need to choose a username and password. Your username will be the email address you wish to have associated with your account. Should any of your registration information change, please go to [Edit profile] and make the required changes.

    (c) For details of how we use this information, see our [Privacy Policy].

    (d) You can cancel registration with the Site at any time by logging in and accessing [Edit profile] and selecting “Remove my account”. (This is subject to what is said in the [About Our Site] section about Refunds).
    (a) Once you have completed the registration process, your user account will be generated. You must keep your password secure and must not disclose it to or share it with anyone.

    (b) If you have registered as an advertiser, you will be required to activate your account via an email verification procedure. If you have registered as an applicant, your account will be activated automatically on submission of you registration details.

    (c) You will be responsible for all activities and orders under your account. If you know or suspect that someone else has your password, you should go to [Edit profile] and change it yourself, or contact us at

    (d) We reserve the right to change your password if we believe that it is no longer secure.

    (e) If you forget your password please visit the [Forgotten Your Password?] where you will be able to reset your password provided you satisfy our security check.
    (a) You may access the Site solely for your own personal, non-commercial use (except for certain parts of the Site which can be accessed and used by individuals wishing to sell their businesses). You must not use any part of the Site for any illegal purpose.

    (b) In particular, you may not use the Site for any of the following purposes:
      (i) disseminating any unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, or otherwise objectionable material or otherwise breaching any laws;
      (ii) transmitting material that encourages conduct that constitutes a criminal offence, or otherwise breaches any applicable laws, regulations or code of practice;
      (iii) interfering with any other person’s use of the Site; or
      (iv) making, transmitting or storing electronic copies of materials protected by copyright without the permission of the owner.
    (c) The personal information made available through the Site may only be used for the purposes of communicating in good faith with the owner of a property in connection with a possible sale or let of the property in question, or the provision of services by our selected third party suppliers in connection with it. Any other use or dissemination of such information is strictly forbidden.

    (d) If you breach any of the provisions of these Terms, you will be responsible for any losses and costs resulting from your breach.

    (e) If you choose to access the Site from outside the United Kingdom, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
    (a) While we try to ensure that the Site is normally available 24 hours a day, we cannot be held responsible if for any reason the Site is unavailable at any time or for any period.

    (b) We reserve the right to suspend access to the Site at any time for operational, regulatory, legal or other reasons.

    (c) Access to the Site may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond our control.

    (d) Although we make all reasonable efforts to ensure that the server that makes the Site available is bug and virus free, we cannot provide any guarantee in this respect.

    (e) You are responsible for obtaining Internet access to the Site from where you are in order to use the Site. We cannot be held responsible for your failure to access the Site from any location or browser.     (g) While we try to use all reasonable care in providing access to the Site, we cannot be held responsible for any corruption or loss of data held on your computer, or any damage caused to your computer resulting from your use of the Site.
    (a) Once you have paid for any of the Services, we make the Service available to you. You are not able to cancel any purchase of a Service after the Service is made available.

    (b) Your access to the Service may be terminated by written notice if you are in material breach of these Terms and you do not remedy the breach within the period of 14 days after written notice of the breach has been given to you. If we reasonably believe your breach of these Terms affects our lawful operation of the Site or may adversely affect other customers, we may suspend your access to the Site at any time.

    (c) You may terminate the Services you have agreed to purchase and we may offer you a pro-rata refund of the fee you have paid if the Service is discontinued or if we are in material breach of these Terms and the breach is not remedied within the period of 14 days after written notice of the breach has been given to us.

    (d) Subject to the above, in no event will you be entitled to a refund of any fee you have paid through the Site unless we are at fault.
    (a) All intellectual property rights in any part of the Site are owned by or licensed to us.

    (b) No intellectual property right in any part of the Site is intended to, and it shall not be deemed to, transfer to any person who accesses the Site.

    (c) Except as expressly permitted by these Terms or as otherwise agreed with us, you may not copy, disseminate, or download any content of the Site.

    (d) By posting any information, photograph or other content whatsoever to the Site you grant us the non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide right to use and, if deemed necessary or desirable, edit such content on the Site or the sites of any of our franchisees, but we will have no obligation to do so except in accordance with the applicable provisions of these Terms.

    (e) You must ensure that any content you post on the Site does not infringe the intellectual property or other rights or any other person or violate any applicable laws. If it does, you will be responsible for any losses which we may incur as a result.

    (f) We may take down from the Site or edit any content if we reasonably believe it contravenes these Terms, or if your right to use the Site is terminated for any reason.
    (a) The Site is provided as it currently is and we do not guarantee that the Site will meet your expectations or requirements. If your computer equipment does not support relevant technology, including encryption, you may not be able to use the Services or certain of them.

    (a) These Terms are governed by English law, and you and we agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
